Researchers are now investigating new technologies to combat the deadly coronavirus. In Tunisia, the Interior Ministry has used a robot named PGuard (Robocop) to patrol the streets and enforce a lockdown imposed last month. Robocop is remotely operated, equipped with infrared & thermal imaging cameras that can work up to 8 hours. If the robot sees someone out, it asks them for ID proof & why they are out.
