Two-third of Aids treatment drugs supplied from India

According to the claim of an Indian diplomat, India supplies 2/3rd of the world's antiretroviral drugs and plays a crucial part in the fight against AIDS. It has also been said that there is a drop of 71% in HIV/Aids-related deaths since its peak in 2005. The country has also witnessed an 80% decline in an estimated new infection. Between 2000 to 2012, the number of patients with HIV positive has been declined by half.
