UIDAI dismissed reports, says no breach of its servers

UIDAI dismissed reports about the alleged data theft of 7.82 crore residents, which is in connection to the FIR filed by Telangana police against IT grid for allegedly storing users' data in violation of Aadhar Act. SIT didn't find any evidence to show that data was stolen from UIDAI servers. UIDAI said service providers collect data for the purpose for which it's collected & cant be shared to anyone without consent.
