UK taskforce says 1st generation of vaccine could be imperfect

Kate Bingham, the chairman of UK Vaccine Taskforce said Tuesday that the first generation of COVID-19 vaccines "is likely to be imperfect". She further said that "we should be prepared that they might not prevent infection but rather reduce symptoms, and, even then, might not work for everyone or for long." The Taskforce is well aware of the fact that "many, and possibly all, of these vaccines could fail".
