UN faces worst cash crisis in a decade

The United Nations is facing a severe budget crisis, probably the worst in the last decade and it is pretty evident from the condition of its Headquarter. The iconic water fountain at the UN HQ, constructed with funds donated by school children in 1952 has been turned off due to the cash crisis. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned that the liquidity reserves may be depleted by the end of the month.
