UN Report: 1 Million species risk extinction due to human activities

According to a UN report, nearly 1 million species face extinction risk due to human activities that led to the loss of clean air, drinkable water, CO2-absorbing forests, etc. These natural damages led to climate change. Biodiversity loss & global warming are closely linked as per the report. Deforestation & agriculture including livestock production accounts for a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions.
