Unnao rape survivor, who was set on fire by men accused of raping her, dies after cardiac arrest

In an unfortunate incident, the Unnao rape survivor, who was burned alive by five men on Thursday, died at 11.40 pm on Friday at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. Reportedly, she suffered a cardiac arrest at around 11.10 pm. The treating doctors tried very hard but failed in their attempts to resuscitate the survivor. She had been airlifted to Delhi on Thursday after being admitted to a Lucknow hospital earlier with 90% burns.
