UP Annual Budget: Rs 3000 crore for rural drinking water, Rs 2305 crore for construction of roads in rural areas

The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government today announced an allocation of Rs 3000 crore for rural drinking water to counter water scarcity in its fourth budget. Other allocations include Rs 2305 crore for construction of roads in rural areas, Rs 200 crore for Kashi Vishwanath temple, Rs 919 crore for Lucknow medical college, Rs 1,500 crore for state highways corpus and Rs 250 crore for One District One Product scheme.
