A couple from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh exchanged garlands of onion instead of garlands of flowers as per the norms, on the day of their wedding. The pair took a jibe at the increasing prices of onion and the clip went viral overnight. "The bride and groom have tried to convey a message by opposing the skyrocketing prices of onions and other food commodities. This is a historic event for the couple," SP leader Satya Prakash said.
