UP Farmers end protest after Govt guarantee to satisfy 5 out of 15 demands

100 of farmers from UP defecated on the UP-Delhi frontier for hours after being prevented from entering the national capital but withdrew their protest when assured by the govt that 5 of their 15 requirements would be met. The 5 demands were; early release of sugarcane arrears, priority cleaning of the Ganges ', selection of a farmer representative to the commission & granting insurance advantages to all family members.
