UP Police gets clean chit in Vikas Dubey encounter case

A three-member judicial commission that was formed to probe the encounter of gangster Vikas Dubey, has given a clean chit to Uttar Pradesh Police. The report by the judicial panel was tabled in UP Assembly on Thursday. The report mentions how the slain gangster and his gang were protected by local police, revenue and administrative officials. An inquiry against 'erring government officials' has also been recommended by the panel.
