US Navy amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard on Sunday caught fire after an explosion at the San Diego naval base. 21 sailors onboard the ship got injured due to the explosion. The incident happened at around 9 am. The reason behind the blast and the fire is not known yet. Nearly 160 sailors and officers were on board when the incident happened. Firefighters at the base responded quickly to avoid and mishap.
