US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said that the country is committed to holding accountable those involved in the killing of journalist Daniel Pearl in Pakistan. The statement from Price came after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with the family of Pearl and assured them of justice. Pearl was beheaded by Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh and his associates in Pakistan while he was doing a story of Al-Qaeda.
