US EPA suspends routine monitoring, allows firms to pollute freely amid coronavirus outbreak

The US EPA has officially allowed companies to pollute the air and water as regulatory environmental laws in place are no longer enforced. The White House recently said that routine monitoring has been suspended. However, polluters can exploit the environment as long as it falls within the ambit of coronavirus containment measures. The EPA has not set any cap until when the firms may freely pollute nature.
