US expresses concerns over report of China building more than 100 nuclear missile silos

US has expressed concerns over China's rapid build-up of its nuclear forces while calling on Beijing to engage with it "on practical measures to reduce the risks of destabilising arms races." The statement came after a report said that China was building more than 100 nuclear missile silos. According to the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, the silos were being built in a desert near the northwestern city of Yumen.
