US State Department adds 5 names to its global terrorist list

The US State Department has added five Islamist militants to its Specially Designated Global Terrorist list. The militants that have been added to the list include Bonomade Machude Omar, the senior military commander of Islamic State's affiliate in Mozambique, Sidang Hitta and Salem Ould al-Hasan, senior leaders of Mali-based Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin and Ali Mohamed Rage and Abdikadir Mohamed Abdikadir of Somalia.
