Shocking! A chilling example of how the use and disposal of plastic is a threat to the animals. A cow was found to have ingested huge quantities of plastic waste, which caused a lot of pain. The surgeons conducted a 5-hour long surgery in Chennai and removed 52 kg of plastic from the cow's stomach. The vets found that plastics occupied 75% of the rumen. Plastic has been choking stray animals looking for food in the dump yard.
