Victoria Memorial to be refurbished and disabled-friendly from June 2019

From June 2019, Victoria Memorial Kolkata will be open to the public as a refurbished and disabled-friendly historic venue. Renovation and conservation works are going on for the past 1.5 years and there will be 2,000 additional artifacts on display. Victoria Memorial boasts of having the largest footfall for any museum in India and with disabled-friendly feature and extended hours, it will attract more people now.
