Violent prison breakout in Haiti leaves 25 dead, over 400 inmates flee

As many as 25 people lost their lives in one of the most violent prison breakouts in the history of Haiti. As per the reports, over 400 inmates managed to flee. "Twenty-five people died including six prisoners and Divisional Inspector Paul Hector Joseph who was in charge of the prison," said Secretary of Communication Frantz Exantus. The incident happened at a prison in the suburbs of the capital Port-au-Prince on Thursday.
