Violent protests erupt in Italy over new coronavirus restrictions

Hundreds of protestors took to the streets in Turin, Milan and some other Italian cities and towns to protest against fresh Covid19 restrictions in the country after a fresh surge in cases. The protestors resorted to violence in some of the cities and some demonstrators smashed store windows on an elegant shopping street in Turin. The violent protestors hurled smoke bombs and bottles at police in the main city square.
