Virus knows no religion: USCIRF expresses concerns over Pakistan targeting & scapegoating Shiite Hazara community

USCIRF has shown concerns over reports of Pakistan targeting and scapegoating the Shiite Hazara ethnic minority community for the spread of the deadly coronavirus. The government has completely sealed off 2 areas of the Hazara community as part of the lockdown in the capital city of Balochistan. The USCIRF said this deadly virus doesn't recognise religion or ethnicity & must not be used as an excuse to discriminate.
