Viruses present in high numbers on Airport security check trays

A research carried out by the University of Nottingham and the Finnish national institute for health and welfare at the Helsinki airport has concluded that 10% of airport surfaces tested including shop payment terminals, staircase rails, passport-checking counters had presence of viruses like rhinovirus and influenza A virus. It was discovered that highest level of viruses was found on plastic security trays.
