'Want a Gun License? Plant Trees & Take a Selfie!'- Madhya Pradesh's New Rule

MPs Gwalior-Chambal region is known for its fascination for firearms. Now a new rule is even more fascinating. Gun license seekers will need to plant at least 10 saplings. If the person doesn't own land, he/she can plant saplings in earmarked revenue land. An exception will be made only if the license is sought due to an immediate threat to the applicant's life; in that case, he must plant saplings after getting the license.
