Chinese tech giant Tencent-owned social media platform WeChat has taken down dozens of LGBT accounts run by university students. The platform said the accounts were taken down as they broke rules on information on the internet. "They censored us without any warning. All of us have been wiped out," the members of the LGBT groups said. Members of the LGBT community still face social stigma and pressure in China.
