Wife who can sustain herself cannot claim maintenance: Delhi court

A Delhi court has said that if the wife is capable of working and sustaining herself, then she is not entitled to claim for any maintenance from the estranged husband. A woman has pleaded for maintenance from her estranged husband, and the judgment came in reply to that. The petitioner of the husband also said that the wife had exaggerated the actual income of the husband, even though she can sustain on her own.
