With 13% women officers, Air Force has highest female employees among 3 armed forces

Indian Airforce has 13.09% officers who are women and that is the highest among the 3 armed forces of India. In army, navy and air force women are only recruited as officers only. The statistics came out on Wednesday as Minister of State of Defence Subhash Bhamre talked about women employees in the armed forces. The army only has 3.80% women officers while the Indian navy has 6% of women officers.
