With effect from today, auto-rickshaw fare hiked in Delhi

As the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has fulfilled his promise with the auto-rickshaw drivers, the fares of rides increased by 18% has come into effect from today onwards. As per the recent changes, the metre-down charge is now Rs. 25 for the first 1.5 kilometres, instead of the existing 2 kms. Also, the per kilometre cost has been raised from Rs. 8 to Rs. 9.5. An extra Rs. 7.5 will be priced for luggage.
