Women Garuda commandoes of Karnataka Police getting trained for anti-terror ops

An all-woman Garuda commando squad of Karnataka police has started training for anti-terror operations. The squad comprises 16 women, mostly from villages across Karnataka. The woman commandos are learning to shoot, handle terror, and improve their weapon-handling skills. The Centre for Counter-Terrorism Garuda force in Karnataka has been established with the help of serving Brigadier, Lt Colonels and others.
