According to a tally kept by Johns Hopkins University, the total count of positive cases of the novel coronavirus has reached 601,478 globally. As per the report, the death toll due to the pandemic has reached 28,000. The number of positive cases in the United States has reached 105,000. However, China, the epicentre of the outbreak has been able to control the outbreak of the virus in the Hubei province.
