The UNESCO listed city of Sanaa in Yemen is collapsing due to the heavy rains in the region. Months of floods and storms across the country have added to the misery of the country already suffering due to war, by adding more numbers to the death list and contributing to disease transmission. The distinctive red and white mud-brick houses of Sanaa's historic neighbourhoods were built before the 11th century.
