Patanjali throws competition to Amul, launches dairy products

Baba Ramdev's Patanjali ayurved is stepping into the dairy segment with packed cow milk and other milk products and priced it lesser than its peers in the market. Amul and Mother Dairy are among the market leaders in this sector. Patanjali is planning to launch curd, buttermilk and paneer in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana and Maharashtra in its first phase. Patanjali has also launched packaged drinking water.
