Facebook to hire Human Rights Director

Facebook has announced to hire a human rights policy director to promote peace and freedom while cracking down on those who try to undermine it. The social media giant has been heavily criticized for taking more than a year to respond to misinformation to fuel atrocities against the minorities in Rohingya. The new policy director will craft new policies for Facebook to be consistent with human rights principles.
