2.25 crore farmers received Rs 2,000 since April 1 under PM Kisaan Yojna

Since April 1st nearly 2.25 crore farmers, including 1.08 crore in Uttar Pradesh alone have been received with Rs 2000 under Modi government's PM-Kisan scheme. This is the second installment out of the 3 equal installments they were promised to get. Whereas, over 86 lakh farmers are yet to get their 2nd installment. The scheme came into effect from December 2018 to benefit the farmers before the general elections in 2019.
