The Lok Sabha was informed that the government has found 312 officials to be allegedly corrupt or inefficient were given retirement for the public interest. In between July 2014 to May 2019, govt has reviewed the service records of 36,756 Group A and group B officers, and out of that 125 group A officers and 187 group B officers (total 312) were found corrupt or inefficient on the basis of available evidence.
