5% growth isn’t enough: Raghuram Rajan on Modi govt’s performance

Raghuram Rajan, the former RBI governor has said that significant reform is required to boost the Indian economy. India’s CSO estimated the GDP growth for 2020 would be around 5% against 6.8% in 2019. This is country’s lowest economic growth since FY09. Rajan said that, 5% growth is not enough and to achieve more growth, the country needs significant reforms. He said that the economy gradually slowed down in last 15 yrs.
