Five politicians who were taken into custody in the month of August, during the abrogation of Article 370 have been released today. They were taken into custody as a precautionary measure ahead of the scrapping of Jammu and Kashmir's special status. However, Kashmir's three most prominent leaders National Conference president Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti is still in detention.
