Fatou “toufah” Jallow, a former beauty queen of Gambia, has said that the ex-gambian president Yahya Jammeh raped her. Toufa claimed that she was raped as a teenager at a religious event on the eve of Ramadan. Two other women have also accused Jammeh of sexual assault and rape. Yahya Jammeh now lives in Equador. He also often advocates for girls' rights in the small Islamic West African nation.
