Aadhaar verdict: Where Aadhaar required where Isn't

The SC has said that the data collected for the Aadhaar scheme to assign to their national identity card do not violate any privacy and it is constitutionally valid. However, cell phone companies cannot ask for your Aadhaar and it is not mandatory to link the bank account with Aadhaar. Aadhaar should be linked with the PAN card for tax returns but it cannot be mandatory for a child's school admission, UGC, NEET and CBSE exam.
