'Abdullah continues to be a threat to public order': Government defends Omar Abdullah's detention

The Supreme Court bench of Justices Arun Mishra and Indira Banerjee today heard a plea filed by Omar Abdullah's sister Sara Abdullah challenging her brother's detention. The government while defending Abdullah's detention said Abdullah continues to be a threat to public order and thus the court cannot review the detention. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said geographical proximity of J&K and Ladakh to Pakistan is also a factor.
