After India, US 'looking at banning TikTok', says Mike Pompeo

Days after India banned 59 Chinese apps including popular platform TikTok amid growing tensions with China, United States is also looking at banning the Chinese apps. "I don't want to get out in front of the President (Donald Trump), but it's something we're looking at," Pompeo said when asked if the government was thinking about banning the apps. ByteDance suffered a loss of $6 billion after the ban in India.
