Social media platforms continue to take action against outgoing US President Donald Trump following the US Capitol incident. After Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, Snapchat has permanently banned Trump from the platform. Snapchat said it has permanently terminated Trump's account "in the interest of public safety' and based on the outgoing President's attempt to "spread misinformation, hate speech, and incite violence."
