Britain today expressed concern over China passing the new national security law in Hong Kong. "We are deeply concerned by unconfirmed reports that Beijing has passed the national security law," Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said. Raab called it a "grave step" by China. He said the country will make a detailed statement after reading the full legislation. US state secretary Mike Pompeo had earlier criticized the move.
