Al Jazeera and BBC contacted by the Home Ministry for spreading false news regarding Kashmir

As Al Jazeera and BBC showed large scale protests in Kashmir which according to the Home Ministry is fake and fabricated. The Home Ministry declared that they are seeking evidence from these channels to prove that the footage is real. The govt claimed that these misguided information could cause a rise in militancy which may be instrumental in worsening the situation. BBC has denied and refuted the claims by the govt.
