Allahabad HC issues notice to PM Modi on a petition challenging his election from Varanasi

The Allahabad High Court issued a notice to PM Modi on a plea challenging his Lok Sabha election from Varanasi constituency. The petition was filed by former BSF constable Tej Bahadur Yadav, whose nomination papers to stand against Modi was rejected. The hearing is scheduled for Aug 21. The former soldier claims that his nomination papers were rejected wrongly and so Modi's election as an MP should be declared void.
