Amit Shah continues as BJP Chief; JP Nadda becomes BJP's Working President

For the first time, former union minister JP Nadda has been appointed as BJP's working president during the party's parliamentary board meeting. Defence minister Rajnath Singh announced the decision. Amit Shah's tenure ends in Dec 2019, and he didn't want to continue with party's principal 'one man, one post'; so the board requested him to continue till BJP's organisational elections are over.
