Amnesty said their operations in India are in danger, govt froze bank a/c

After the Indian government suspended their bank accounts, the Global charities have claimed that their functioning in India is in crisis, as they are being forced to kick-out their workers. Amnesty International and Greenpeace accused that India is starting “smear campaign” against NGOs, activists, and journalists that criticize the government. Amnesty’s Indian operation is being forced to shed its 70 employees.
