AMU closed till Jan 5 after the student-police clash, JNU students call for overnight stir

The situation in Delhi has turned tense and gripping when 3 Delhi transport corporation buses were torched, after which police officers entered Jamia Millia Islamia University to chase some outsiders who indulged in vandalism. Some youths were detained while some claimed the police entered library & harassed students. AMU admin declared that the university will remain closed till Jan 5 after clashes broke near the campus gate.
