The Indian Army on Saturday issued an advisory, urging the citizens to stay cautious of the fake news that is being shared by various people driven by political or religious agenda. “Be cautious against fake news and disinformation being spread by some suspicious people on social media regarding its activities in the northeast, do not pay heed to false news”, the army tweeted. 26 Army columns have been deployed in Assam.
