The LGBTQ community is coming into the mainstream in the nation, and now Bihar is leading the way. Bihar becomes the first state where one cannot deny transgenders right to buy or rent a house. Those who deny accommodation to transgenders on the basis of their gender will face a jail term of 6 years. Bihar's deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi has confirmed the move and announced at Kinar Mahotsava in Patna.
