BJP discloses 1st list of candidates for Maharashtra elections; Fadnavis to contest from Nagpur

The first list of candidates for Maharashtra assembly elections has been released by the BJP. The list constitutes of 125 members for the elections on October 21. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis will contest the election from Nagpur South West, Chandrakant Patil will contest from Kothrud whereas Shivendra Singh from Shivaji Maharaj’s family will contest from Satara. 12 sitting MLAs have been dropped from the list.
